Our Story
Dessert Darling began with my mom’s lifelong love for baking — a passion that took root at church potlucks, where she first shared delicate Chinese sponge cakes with family and friends. Over the years, that spark evolved into a deep curiosity and commitment to mastering the classics: cookies, cakes, pies, and more.
She spent years testing, tweaking, and perfecting recipes in search of the best textures and flavors — always guided by one principle: use quality ingredients to make desserts that taste as good as they feel nostalgic. Today, that dedication lives on in every small batch we bake, right from our licensed home kitchen in Sunnyvale.
